  1. I like the idea of delivering small packages with the robots instead of Fedex and Ups, but some concerns i have are what if they robot gets stolen? Would the person be getting their money back or the product replaced?

  2. 1. Robot delivery of packages is an interesting idea, however, I think that there could be a lot of problems and questions that people may have with it. For example, it could get stolen, it could malfunction, people may freak out over it as it is not something people are used to seeing everyday, or it may take longer for a robots to deliver packages.
    2. I think that they both have their negatives and benefits such as drones can get from place to place quicker or not interfere with anyone's path, yet robots can deliver bigger packages and can handle a lot more deliveries. Overall, I think that human deliveries is still much more efficient.
    3. I think that robots will be a lot cheaper as businesses like UPS would not have to hire workers or pay for trucks. Also, robots may be environmentally beneficial as they may pollute less than do cars (although making the hundreds of robots may cause lots of pollution).

  3. 1. I honestly do not like the idea of robots coming to my door and delivering my package, I think it would feel uncomfortable. And we can not rely on this robot because it is a machine and it has the possibility of malfunctioning which could be a hazard to people.
    2. I feel that drones are better solution to dropping off our packages because they can just leave it on our doorstep. but I also thing that is a problem because that the drones could just as easily lose our packages because the could drop it and damage the package.
    3. I feel that drones and robots would not give as much profit to the stores because I don't think people would be comfortable with at first and they would be scared.

  4. To answer the third question, I think that there can be a potential profit increase at UPS and Fedex. It wouldn't be seen initially because the companies would have to pay to have the robots manufactured, but once all the robots they need are up and running, they will be efficient enough to the point where the shipping companies don't have to pay for manual labor. In turn, they would have one less thing to pay for especially since robot maintenance shouldn't take up a huge portion of they money they would lose. However, this does call unemployment into question because if we start using robots more often, will people lose their jobs and their sources of income?

  5. 1. I think the idea of a robot delivery is a good idea but I'm unsure how plausible it would be. It's a good idea because it would advance our technology. But some concerns are what if people need to sign for the package? What happens if the robot is stolen even if the alarms go off?

    2. I think having packages hand delivered is more efficient just because its quicker than a robot delivery machine and they could just drop it off with no problem.

    3. I don't think robots would increase profits for fedex and UPS because they're expensive and they will be liable for lost packages.
